Aufgaben

• Follows the 7-step cleaning process for all assigned areas.
• Cleans and disinfects beds, bedside cabinets, overbed tables, chairs, doors, walls, glass, sinks, toilets, showers, drapes, curtains, ledges, vents, lights, office, furniture, wall hangings, telephones, wheelchairs, litter, floors, and accessories.
• Restocks all supplies, chemicals, and cart. Report all cleaned discharge units via the Bedtracking System.
• Removes trash and replaces trash liner. Segregates waste according to appropriate waste stream process and transports to designated holding area.
• Assists patients, visitors, Hospital staff, and other guests to provide information or services and resolve questions.
• Identifies and reports broken or faulty equipment, safety hazards and patient safety risks.
• Attends departmental meetings, completes required trainings and competency assessments, and seeks opportunities for improvement on performance and skills.
• Follows Infection Prevention guidelines to minimize cross-contamination and spread of infection.
