Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper at Doylestown Hospital to maintain a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will follow the 7-step cleaning process, restock supplies, and assist the Housekeeping Manager with daily operations and staff training.

Adherence to infection prevention guidelines and hand hygiene is essential to protect patient safety.

Qualifications

• Perform housekeeping duties to provide a safe, clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Follow the 7-step cleaning process and restock supplies.
• Assist the Manager in daily operations and staff training.
• Identify and report broken equipment and safety hazards.
• Follow Infection Prevention guidelines and hand hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Follow the 7-step cleaning process for all assigned areas.
• Clean/disinfect beds, tables, chairs, doors, walls, sinks, and equipment.
• Restock supplies and report discharge units via Bed tracking System.
• Assist with daily operations and staff training.
• Report unsafe acts and patient safety risks.
• Attend departmental meetings and required trainings.
• Adhere to infection prevention guidelines and standard precautions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
