Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping operations within a Behavioral Health facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in hospital/medical office cleaning and hospitality. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Shift: 11p-7p Monday-Friday.

Pay: $22-$24/hr

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the housekeeping team, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company standards.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance.
• Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
• Be willing to cover any openings regardless of shift.

This is a working position. Cleaning required.

• Empty trash containers
• Clean bathrooms
• Vacuum all carpeted floors
• Dust, mop, and sweep hard floors
• Dust all horizontal surfaces high and low
• Remove fingerprints and marks from glass and stainless-steel surfaces
• Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
• Notify Area Manager of any problems
• Perform other janitorial duties as required

Experience

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality/medical industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Must get TB skin test and take drug screen
• Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
• Bend/kneel/crouch/climb
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
