Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to support Baptist Beaches in our Environmental Services team. The role involves maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and staff during evening shifts.

Part-time, evenings 1:00pm–7:30pm (32 hours/week) with rotating weekends and holidays. 1–2 years of Environmental Services experience and a High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
• Collects trash and linens for disposal/cleaning.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas and common spaces.
• Maintains cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
• Follows safety and security protocols.
• May perform other duties as required.

Baptist Health is looking to add a Hospital Housekeeper to join our Baptist Beaches, Environmental Services team. The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Baptist is proud to utilize state of the art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines. These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, keeping our team members and patients better protected.

Shift Details

Part-Time, Evenings, 1:00pm- 7:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays are Required (32 hours per week)
