Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join the Environmental Services team at Baptist Silverleaf (Saint Augustine, FL). The role ensures a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff using standard cleaning duties and UV disinfection tech.

The shift is full-time with day hours (7a-3:30p) on weekdays and 7a-7p on weekends/holidays, with rotating weekends and holidays. High school diploma preferred; 1-2 years ES experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned including janitorial and custodial services.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes offices, bathrooms, patient rooms and common areas.
• Maintains cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Follows safety and security protocols.

The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.Baptist is proud to utilize state of the art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines. These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, keeping our team members and patients better protected.Shift Details: Full-Time, Days, 7a-3:30p when scheduled Mon.-Fri., 7a-7p when scheduled on weekend/holiday.
