Job summary

Baptist Health in Saint Augustine is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join the Environmental Services team. You will perform a range of cleaning duties to maintain a safe, healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff using advanced UV disinfection technology when appropriate.

The role is full-time, dayshift with weekend/holiday coverage as scheduled, totaling 40 hours per week. A High School Diploma is preferred and 1–2 years of EVS experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Environmental Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and custodial cleaning duties as assigned.

Job description

Baptist Health is looking to add a Hospital Housekeeper to join our Baptist Silverleaf, Environmental Services team. The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Baptist is proud to utilize state of the art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines. These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, keeping our team members and patients better protected.

Shift Details: Full-Time, Days, 7a-3:30p when scheduled Mon.-Fri., 7a-7p when scheduled on weekend/holiday. Rotating Weekends and Holidays are Required (40 hours per week)

Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned. Including janitorial and custodial services

Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including but not limited to offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, common waiting areas, etc.

Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance to OSHA requirements.

Maintains friendly and professional attitude.

Always follows safety and security protocols.

May perform other duties as required.

1-2 years Environmental Services Experience Preferred
