Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join the Environmental Services team at Baptist South. This part-time role keeps patient, visitor and staff areas clean and safe, including offices, patient rooms, and common areas.

Shift is 12:00 PM–8:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays, totaling 32 hours per week. High School Diploma is preferred, with 1–2 years of Environmental Services experience preferred to ensure OSHA-compliant cleaning and safety.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Environmental Services experience preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs janitorial and custodial duties in patient and non-patient areas.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes areas including offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, and common areas.
• Maintains cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Follows safety and security protocols.

The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.Baptist is proud to utilize state of the art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines. These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, keeping our team members and patients better protected.Shift Details: Part-Time, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM.
