Job summary

Billings Clinic is seeking a dedicated environmental services worker to perform cleaning duties across the campus and branch locations. You will clean patient rooms, public areas, and laundry units, maintain floors, dispose of trash, and ensure safety standards are met. Qualifications

• Follow environmental, employee and patient safety standards as related to cleaning operations.
• Maintain competency with organizational and outside agency environmental safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services areas within Billings Clinic and campus; may include patient rooms, isolation rooms, patient care areas, public areas, offices, stairwells, elevators, restrooms and laundry.
• Maintains floors by sweeping, mopping, stripping, finishing, buffing, and refinishing surfaces; shampoos carpets and furniture.
• Removes trash/linen from assigned areas.
• Washes windows, walls, vents, lights, and baseboards with appropriate disinfectants.
• Dusts and polishes hard surfaces; moves furniture/equipment; changes curtains as needed.
• Delivers and replenishes supplies; coordinates daily laundry service needs with departments; sorts and distributes clean laundry and linen garments.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
