Dayton Children's is seeking a Housekeeper II for the Main Campus on the 2nd shift. The role involves terminal cleaning of rooms after discharge and cleaning various hospital areas, with duties including bed-making, trash removal, equipment cleaning, and linen handling.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, 3:00PM–11:30PM with rotating weekends and holidays. Training on chemicals and safety is provided to ensure a clean, safe hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform terminal cleaning of rooms after patients are discharged.
• Clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and public restrooms.
• Make beds, empty trash, wipe equipment, clean furniture, polish floors, vacuum carpets, clean restrooms.
• Launder hospital linen; daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment.
