Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper for Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. The role supports environmental services to maintain a safe, clean hospital environment and utilizes UV disinfection tech as part of cleaning protocols.

Shift is Full-Time Days from 7:00am to 3:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Prior Environmental Services experience is preferred and a High School Diploma is desired. Baptist Clay location serves patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Environmental Services experience preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned. Including janitorial and custodial services
• Collects trash and linens for disposal/cleaning
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including but not limited to offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, common waiting areas, etc.
• Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance to OSHA requirements.
• Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
• Always follows safety and security protocols.
• May perform other duties as required.

Baptist Health is looking to add a Hospital Housekeeper to join our Baptist Clay, Environmental Services team. The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Baptist is proud to utilize state of the art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines. These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, keeping our team members and patients better protected.

Shift Details: Full-Time, Days, 7:00am- 3:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays are Required
