Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a Groundskeeper for the Main Campus to maintain hospital grounds and landscaping to the highest standards. You will perform irrigation, minor repairs, sod installation, and preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment, ensuring safe and clean outdoor spaces around clinics and hospital facilities.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of grounds work experience, with a valid Texas driver's license.

Qualifications

• +2 years of grounds work experience or related maintenance background.
• Valid Texas Driver License with clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform irrigation, repairs, concrete and sod installation.
• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment as required.
• Maintain grounds and landscaping around UMC clinics.
• Complete daily route checks across hospital campus for maintenance issues.
• Maintain safe, presentable outdoor spaces in accordance with standards.
