Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker I in Cape Girardeau, MO. The role covers non-cooking tasks such as washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, and general cleaning.

Evening shifts are available, with a 20-hour work week, requiring a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in a service environment. Qualified candidates must read, write, and speak English and demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality

Qualifications

Maintains relationship with patients and customers to attain quality satisfaction of food.
Courteous and cooperative when communicating with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel.
Ability to work in direct contact with a variety of foods.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashier, tray passing, loading carts, general cleaning and receiving.
Support non-cooking tasks and maintain clean, safe working areas.
Assist with loading carts and general housekeeping to ensure smooth operations.
