Job summary

Mercy St. Louis is hiring a Food Service Worker I to perform non-cooking duties such as washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, loading carts and general cleaning.

Shift is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Saint Louis, MO; requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and at least 1 year in a service-related environment; English reading/writing speaking required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for 32+ hours.

Qualifications

• Maintains relationships with patients and customers to attain quality satisfaction with food.
• Courteous, considerate, and cooperative communication with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel.
• Ability to work in direct contact with a variety of foods.
• Able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality).
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashier, tray passing, loading carts, and general cleaning.
• Receiving duties and other non-cooking related tasks as part of daily service.
