Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is hiring a Food Service Worker I to support patient and guest meals. The role covers non-cooking tasks: washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, loading carts and general cleaning.

• Is courteous, considerate and cooperative when communicating with all patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel.
• Ability to work in direct contact with a variety of foods.
• Able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
