The role emphasizes efficiency, cross-training, and minimizing overtime while maintaining service standards. Qualified candidates will have hospital food service experience, a high school diploma with an associate degree preferred, and willingness to supervise

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in hospital food service with patient diets is required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily operations by staffing management and minimizing substitutions.
• Oversee food production and service quality; monitor temperature logs and sanitation.
• Train staff on safety, equipment handling, and emergency procedures.
• Communicate clearly with team, patients, and leadership via updates and reports.
• Manage scheduling, performance, onboarding, mentoring, and reduce overtime.
• Handle cross-training and improvement initiatives; perform other duties as assigned.
