Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Nutritional Services Technician to support food preparation, serving, sanitation, and customer service on an on-site basis. You will help maintain a clean work area, ensure safe food temperatures, and assist with inventory and ordering as needed.

The role involves operating the cash register and handling cash flow from customers, with 40 hours per week and a variable shift. Prior service-industry experience is appreciated, hospital experience preferred.

• Experience in a service industry.

• Preferred experience handling money transactions.

Responsibilities

• Handles food throughout the cooking, serving, and cleaning process.
• Sanitizes and maintains work area and equipment; washes dishes and pans.
• Ensures proper temperatures are maintained while cooking and cleaning.
• Operates cash register and responsible for cash flow from customers.
• Documents processes and procedures as necessary.
• Performs inventory and ordering of supplies as necessary.
