Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a WORKSTATION ASSOCIATE at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS. The role involves patient tray assembly, meeting dietary restrictions, and coordinating with Food & Nutrition Services to support patient nutrition needs.

Full-time position with varying days and hours; 1 year of related experience required. Fixed pay rate is $14.00 per hour. This role supports patient care and hospital operations in a fast-paced food service environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assembles trays according to patient menu selections on tray tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations.
• Communicates and addresses patient food issues/concerns and needs to Food & Nutrition Services.
• Interacts with Nursing in regards to patient nutrition needs or requirements as well as unit food service needs.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction goals by providing quality service.
• Adheres to facility confidentiality and patient's rights policy as outlined in HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies.
• Completes all daily/weekly/monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures on time.
• Identifies and utilizes cleaning chemicals per MSDS directions.
• Utilizes equipment in performing job functions according to department's safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
