Advocate Health’s 11903 Aurora Psychiatric Hospital – Food and Nutrition team is hiring a full-time Food Service/Stock Clerk. The role involves inventory, deliveries, labeling, and ensuring safe food handling in a hospital setting in Milwaukee, WI.

Requires a High School diploma, ServSafe Food Handler certification within 1 year, and typically 1 year of food service experience. Weekend and holiday AM/PM shifts are included. The position offers benefits and a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Prepares inventory, requisitions daily supplies and labels and stores items.
• Receives deliveries and verifies against orders; labels and dates deliveries.
• Monitors expiry, communicates shortages or damaged goods to supervisor.
• Fulfills stock requisitions and prioritizes deliveries to meet needs.
• Maintains clean, orderly storeroom, refrigerators, and freezers; ensures security.
• Monitors quality of fresh produce and reports issues to supervisor.
• Provides delivery outside hospital as requested by supervisor.
• Supports sanitation and safety regulations; improves sanitation where needed.
• Uses safe food handling techniques and sanitizes utensils and equipment.
• Assists with inventory levels and ordering to balance service and stock.
