Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician at UF HEALTH FLAGLER HOSPITAL in Saint Augustine, FL. You will deliver high-quality cleaning to create a safe, healthy environment.

Flexible, varied shifts and full-time employment. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour, with benefits including comprehensive programs.

You will operate floor care equipment, clean carpets, and support a hygienic facility while training other team members as needed.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
