Crothall Healthcare is seeking a Floor Technician for a full-time role at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. The schedule is full-time with days and hours that may vary; weekend and holiday availability is required.

The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Prior floor care experience is required, and candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery procedures (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
