Encompass Health, the largest in-patient rehabilitation company in the nation, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the hospital finance team and drive financial performance. You will oversee all accounting processes, ensure accurate reporting, and partner with leadership to sustain high-quality patient care across our 150+ facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum five years of hospital accounting experience.
• Proven knowledge of financial management principles and healthcare operations.
• Experience in labor management, revenue analysis, and expense management.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes including capital and operational planning.
• Experience in establishing and executing robust internal control systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee all accounting processes and financial operations for the hospital.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and state financial reporting.
• Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency as requested by hospital leadership and corporate office.
• Participate in governing committees and boards as needed.
• Monitor compliance with Medicare regulations and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Celebrate team successes and milestones regularly.
