Qualifications

• Experience: A specific length of training and experience is not required - but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position.
• Screen-out element: Qualifications evaluated against the OPM Federal Wage System standards and related job elements.
• Physical Requirements: Incumbent must use, move, carry and set up ladders; may require HEPA vacuums and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Working Conditions: Outdoors and indoors, in hot/noisy/confined spaces, with respirator and safety gear as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repairs plumbing systems and install/modify utility, supply, and disposal systems.
• Repair equipment such as sewage, water, oil, and gas distribution systems and related fixtures.
• Diagnose, plan and complete projects or work orders involving routine repairs.
• Read and apply building plans, blueprints, and sketches to execute precise layouts.
• Operate and maintain a wide variety of tools and equipment to meet specifications.
• Perform walk-through inspections and initiate electronic work orders for deficiencies.
