Job summary

PCH Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repair and inspection of hospital systems and equipment, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for patients and staff.

You will follow building standards, document services, train junior staff, and respond to routine trouble calls under supervision of the Facilities Engineering team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required and must be maintained.
• Two years of building maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and use of hand tools and power tools for repairs.
• Operates measuring devices such as rulers, calipers and gauges.
• Uses test equipment for electrical and safety testing of systems.
• Repairs carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general building components.
• Maintains compliance with safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, NEC).
• Understands refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Maintains documentation through time sheets and work orders.
• Provides on‑the‑job training to lower level technicians.
