Albert Einstein Medical Center seeks an Operations Mechanic I to support hospital mechanical equipment and infrastructure, including chillers, compressors, PTACs, BAS controls, medical gas systems, and plumbing. Daily rounds ensure systems operate properly; preventative maintenance and house calls are handled as assigned.

The role requires maintaining records, understanding electrical safety, and performing diverse maintenance tasks. Weekend-evening shifts apply, with a regular employee status.

Formación

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred; Previous related experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of training from a certified technical school or program. A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial building maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson Revised Job Description
• Assists with repairs of electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment and systems as directed by senior staff
• Maintains routine records of inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs; understands electrical safety and lockout/tagout standards
• Make scheduled rounds of building areas to inspect lighting fixtures and identify regulatory compliance deficiencies
• Performs manual duties (moving supplies, furniture, replacing light bulbs, trash removal)
• Assigned to perform other duties in air conditioning, carpentry, electrical, painting, plant operations and plumbing; high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 5 years' experience in commercial building maintenance
