Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fairhaven, MA is seeking a Sr Building Superintendent to own the daily operation of regional facilities, ensure systems run optimally, and lead frontline teams.

You will collaborate with support service leadership, manage work orders, and uphold high standards, safety, and compliance in a healthcare environment. The role includes day shift, 40 hours per week, with on-call rotation evenings/weekends/holidays; compensation will be determined by experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field preferred or equivalent of five (5) years of Facilities related experience.
• Three (3) years' experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with the general operation of building systems and Building Management Systems.
• Capable of reading a schematic drawing of MEP systems and construction drawings.
• Appropriate current HVAC and/or Plumbing licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Director, Facility-Environment of Care, take pride and ownership of regional facilities and provide high quality support services.
• Partner with support service leadership to ensure collaboration and coordination of frontline teams to deliver excellent service to patients, employees, and visitors.
• Responsible for daily operation of the regional facilities to ensure all systems run optimally and work orders are completed on time.
