Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Healthcare Facilities Specialist to keep hospital equipment and building systems safe and compliant. You will coordinate daily operations for bed and stretcher repair programs, monitor temperature alarms, and ensure life safety documentation is up to date.

Requires Associate degree with 3+ years in healthcare facility maintenance or 5 years with a HS diploma, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; experience may substitute for degree.
• Three years of hands-on facility maintenance with an Associate’s degree; five years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Manage the facility temperature monitoring system and respond to critical alerts.
• Coordinate Bed Repair Program to ensure timely bed and stretcher readiness.
• Coordinate with internal teams and outside contractors for repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain life safety documentation.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules to meet life safety inspections and codes.
• Organize regulatory logs to support fire inspections and DNV readiness frameworks.
• Support emergency response and continuity during crises such as power outages or floods.
• Lead or participate in staff safety drills and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned
