The Healthcare Facilities Specialist ensures hospital equipment and building systems stay compliant with DNV and OSHA standards, coordinating bed repairs, temperature monitoring, safety inspections, and regulatory readiness while supporting emergency response and staff training.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field is required.
• Three years of hands-on experience in commercial, institutional or healthcare facility maintenance with an Associate’s degree.
• Five years of hands-on experience in commercial, institutional or healthcare facility maintenance with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the facility temperature monitoring system and respond to critical alerts.
• Coordinate the Bed Repair Program and track maintenance tickets for patient-ready beds and stretchers.
• Coordinate with hospital teams and external contractors for repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct routine safety inspections to identify and resolve environmental safety issues.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules to ensure life safety compliance and building codes.
• Organize internal documentation and regulatory logs for fire inspections and DNV readiness.
