Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to oversee the physical plant and ancillary systems, ensuring safe, compliant operations in a hospital environment. The role coordinates engineering and safety activities and collaborates with contractors to maintain optimal facility performance.

Qualified candidates bring HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety management experience, plus hospital exposure. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous materials and safety management experience required.
• Management experience is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital codes and regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and basic safety compliance are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all work related to the physical plant, ancillary systems, Engineering and Safety.
• Acts as liaison between the Medical Center and contracted personnel/vendors performing facilities work.
• Presents a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians and the public.
