Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to oversee the physical plant and ancillary systems, ensuring safe, compliant operations in a hospital environment. The role coordinates engineering and safety activities and collaborates with contractors to maintain optimal facility performance.

Qualified candidates bring HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety management experience, plus hospital exposure. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous materials and safety management experience required.
• Management experience is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital codes and regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and basic safety compliance are required.

• Acts as liaison between the Medical Center and contracted personnel/vendors performing facilities work.

Responsibilities

Supervises all work related to the physical plant and ancillary systems, Engineering, and Safety. The Supervisor acts as liaison between Medical Center and other contracted personnel/vendors performing Facilities related work. Presents a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians and the public

Qualifications

• Basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous material and safety management experience required. Management experience necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital associated codes
• Valid state driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $63,336.00 to $91,728.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
