Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Degree in Construction/Facilities Management, Electrical/Mechanical technology or related fields.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Facilities Management or Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years construction or facilities management experience in industrial or health care environment.
• 3+ years construction planning, design, and project management and administration.

Responsibilities

• Ensures continuing operation of central utility systems (boilers, water, chilled water, electrical systems).
• Oversees development and implementation of systems for control and efficient utilization of utilities (gas, water, power).
• Prepares scopes of work and specs; solicits bids and liaises with contractors.
• Plans, organizes, and executes construction, alteration, and expansion projects; manages capital improvements plan.
• Manages contracts and monitors progress to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Maintains records, staffing, and training programs within Plant Operations.
• Ensures accreditation and regulatory compliance for facilities.
