Job summary

HARR Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz, Ohio, seeks a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems throughout the facility, supporting safe, efficient patient care. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant Licenses (Electrical Journeyman, Master Electrician, HVAC Refrigerant).

Experience in general and facilities maintenance is preferred, with on‑call duties and strict adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• One year experience in all phases of general maintenance.
• One year experience in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance work throughout the Hospital.
• Assures all tools are clean and kept properly stored for future use and keep good inventory on all materials.
• Follows hospital, state and federal guidelines for ensuring safe environment for workers, patients and public. Maintains compliance with hospital and departmental policies and Government Codes and procedures for safety, security, and infection control.
• Ensures the facilities and equipment for department services is maintained to promote comfort, efficiency and safety for patients and staff.
• Operates and cleans and maintains equipment per department & safety procedures.
• Uses required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) safety equipment when in the department.
• Responds promptly to on-call duties.
