Job summary

USA Health in Mobile, AL, is seeking a Facilities Management supervisor focused on plumbing, medical gas, and related utilities. You will lead a small team, plan preventive maintenance, and coordinate with clinical departments to maintain safe, compliant hospital operations.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong knowledge of hospital utility systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic clinical environment. CMMS experience preferred and a driving license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience in general building maintenance and repair work.
• Supervisory experience highly preferred.
• Driver license valid in-state and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision and technical leadership for 2–4 Facilities Management employees.
• Oversees plumbing, medical gas, and related maintenance functions.
• Plans, schedules, and prioritizes preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinates shutdowns and emergency response for utility systems.
• Ensures compliance with safety, regulatory, and infection-control requirements.
• Maintains documentation of maintenance actions and system status in CMMS.
• Supports capital projects, renovations, and contractor coordination.
• Communicates with clinical departments and leadership on outages and restorations.
