Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance generalist or handyman is required.
• Demonstrated abilities of the skills listed above
• Willingness to work hard and to learn.
• Some experience working in a healthcare setting
• A valid drivers license may be required for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established safety procedures and protocols.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to moderately complex maintenance tasks (light bulbs, leaks, wall/floor repairs).
• Assists with installation, repair, and maintenance of hospital equipment and systems.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests and provides immediate assistance.
• Works independently or under supervision of a facilities management leader.
