Job summary

Aramark Corporation seeks a Facilities Manager focusing on HVAC and the Boiler House at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. This role oversees maintenance and engineering services for HVAC, boilers, and related systems, manages hourly staff, and partners with departments to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The position requires 2–5 years leading boiler plant operations, with healthcare experience and knowledge of Joint Commission standards preferred, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-5 years of experience supervising or managing a boiler plant.
• Experience in healthcare/hospital environment and Joint Commission regulatory compliance knowledge preferred.
• Working knowledge and proper preventive/preventive maintenance of building systems (i.e., boilers, chillers, generators, HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing and mechanical).
• Requires operational and repair experience with high pressure steam boilers, and the steam plant including HVAC equipment and chillers.

Responsibilities

• Manages and prioritizes maintenance work orders for MEP, HVAC, boilers and chillers.
• Ensures effective execution of department strategies to meet company and client needs with high standards of excellence, urgency and predictability.
