Job summary

Covenant Children's Hospital is seeking a seasoned facilities and engineering leader to oversee hospital projects, coordinate teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role supports budget planning and daily operations within a large healthcare facility.

You will manage scheduling, inspections, and staff development while ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines, contributing to safe, efficient hospital operations.

Qualifications

• 5 years maintenance of equipment, utilities, and buildings in a hospital setting 500,000+ sq ft.
• 5 years experience managing a healthcare facility department in a leadership role.
• 3 years exposure to Joint Commission surveys and other hospital regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of hospital facilities projects; coordinate workers, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure specifications are followed and work stays on schedule and within budget.
• Assist Regional Director with day-to-day operations and budgetary planning for maintenance and projects.
• Schedule and inspect work of Engineering staff; train and evaluate staff; uphold Hospital policies.
