Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Physicians in Toledo is seeking a Carpenter to repair and maintain wooden structures within the hospital building. You will read blueprints and drawings, work on construction and repair projects, and manage lumber and hardware requisitions while keeping an inventory of carpentry tools and equipment.

You will construct woodwork such as bins, counters, benches, stairs and doors, contributing to a safe, well-maintained facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or degree from technical school.
• 5 years commercial carpentry experience recommended.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain wooden structures including furniture, equipment, partitions and other parts of the hospital building.
• Work from blueprints and drawings on construction and repair projects.
• Construct and maintain building woodwork such as bins, counters, benches, stairs and doors.
• Requisition lumber and hardware and maintain inventory of carpentry tools and equipment.
