Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a skilled Carpenter in Toledo to repair and maintain wooden structures across the hospital facility. You will read blueprints, follow drawings, and execute construction and repair tasks on furniture, equipment, partitions and woodwork.

Responsibilities include requisitioning lumber, maintaining tool inventory, and ensuring projects meet safety and quality standards. A high school diploma or technical training and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or technical school degree.
• 5 years of commercial carpentry experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain wooden structures including furniture, equipment, partitions and other parts of the hospital building.
• Construct and repair building woodwork such as bins, counters, benches, stairs and doors.
• Read blueprints and drawings; work from construction plans on repair projects.
• Requisition lumber and hardware; maintain inventory of carpentry tools and equipment.
