Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a qualified carpenter to provide on-site carpentry, remodeling and maintenance across campus buildings. The role supports the Facilities NE Labor - United Fac Maint department and involves reading blueprints, estimating materials, and completing projects to deadline.

The position offers an 8-hour day shift, 1.0 FTE, and no weekend work. Prior hospital or commercial carpentry experience is preferred, with vocational training or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical carpentry training or equivalent experience.
• Experience in hospital or commercial environments preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and estimate materials.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, remodels and maintains all areas of buildings on campus.
• Ensures work meets regulatory requirements and timelines.
• Reads blueprints and estimates materials.
• Installs and repairs millwork, doors, frames and hardware.
• Performs basic electrical and general maintenance tasks.
