Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Facilities Assistant on a 25-hour post based at Lawson Memorial Hospital Golspie to support Catering, Laundry and Domestic services and ensure high standards of cleanliness in line with infection control policies.

The role includes meeting cleaning schedules, assisting with meal regeneration, laundry to NHS specifications, and a two-week rota including weekends. Full induction and training are provided, with pay rate from £14.22 per hour and weekend uplift.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to follow infection control policies and regulations.
• Willingness to work a 2-week rotating weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to Catering, Laundry and Domestic services.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in line with infection control policies and regulations.
• Meet cleaning schedules and Waste Regulations requirements.
• Catering duties include meal regeneration and preparation of salads, sandwiches and snacks.
• Laundry services to NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications.
