Job summary

NHS Tayside is recruiting Domestic Assistants to undertake cleaning duties across Perth & Kinross locality within the healthcare setting, including wards, theatres, offices and GP practices. You must be able to work as part of a team or alone, have good communication, adapt to unpredictable situations, follow instructions, and maintain confidentiality while complying with the Code of Conduct.

Mandatory training will be provided online and face-to-face; you may be required to work across NHS

Qualifications

• Be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
• Good verbal and written communication; listen and communicate effectively.
• Respond constructively to unpredictable situations and cope under pressure.
• Complete Domestic related paperwork.
• Understand confidentiality and maintain professional approach.

Responsibilities

• All Domestic Assistants may be required to work across NHS Tayside sites.
• Complete mandatory Health Care Worker Workbook and comply with the Code of Conduct.
• Attend online and face-to-face mandatory training.
• Maintain cleanliness standards across clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Uphold confidentiality in all duties.
