Job summary

Select Medical in Omaha, NE is hiring an Environmental Services Technician (EVS)/Housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. This full-time role works 7am–3:30pm and every other weekend, with pay ranging from $16.00 to $19.51 per hour.

The ideal candidate has prior housekeeping experience and a commitment to compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. You will be responsible for sanitation, room turnover, and general upkeep across patient areas, staff spaces, and public

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in patient rooms, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, elevators and lobby areas.
• Perform light manual housekeeping tasks according to established schedules and procedures.
• Clean furnishings, floors, and equipment with appropriate cleaning solutions to prevent the spread of disease.
• Dust surfaces and dispose of trash; arrange furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
• Make beds with clean linen and replenish supplies as needed.
