CHI Health Lasting Hope Recovery Center in Omaha, NE is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) to maintain a safe, sanitized environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will clean and disinfect areas daily and operate cleaning equipment.

The role emphasizes PPE use, adherence to safety and infection control, and timely reporting of maintenance needs. A high school diploma is required; no prior experience needed. Pay ranges $16–$22 per hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow sanitation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects patient, ancillary and public areas as assigned daily.
• Operates floor cleaners and vacuums; maintains equipment.
• Collects and disposes of designated waste streams and soiled linens.
• Performs discharge room cleans.
• Follows Safety, Risk Management, and Infection Control practices; reports maintenance needs.
• Inspects EVS equipment for cleanliness and repairs.
