Job summary

North Country Healthcare seeks an Environmental Services Technician to clean patient rooms, offices, and clinical areas in Berlin, NH. This float role requires evening or night shifts across multiple hospital areas, with compensation based on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be able to read schedules, and follow directions, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently after training.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is not required, but one must be able to read, understand written documents and write.
• Ability to read housekeeping schedules and follow oral directions.
• After training, be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Prior EVS experience in a Healthcare Facility preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and corridors.
• Demonstrates ability to use appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Float position, working in multiple areas on the evening and/or night shift.
• Reports to the Manager of Environmental Services.
