Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeper) for a full-time, evening/night float position at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Lancaster, NH. You will clean patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas to maintain a safe hospital environment.

The role requires ability to read schedules, follow procedures, work independently after training, and adapt to multiple areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand written documents and write.
• Ability to read housekeeping schedules and follow directions.
• After training, able to work independently with little supervision.
• Prior EVS experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Clean all hospital areas including patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors.
• Demonstrate ability to utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Float position; work in multiple areas on the evening and/or night shift.
