Job summary

Great River Health Systems is seeking an EVS Technician for the 2nd shift in West Burlington, Iowa. The role focuses on routine cleaning to maintain patient rooms, public areas, and facilities to hospital standards.

You will perform duties such as cleaning rooms, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygienic environments. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred and good English skills are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of English language basics (reading, spelling, grammar).
• Ability to manage time and work with others.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Clean windows, glass and mirrors with cleaners.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Handle trash and recycling; notify managers of major repairs.
