Job summary

Westover Hills Baptist Hospital is seeking a Housekeeping Associate II to maintain cleanliness in multiple patient care areas including procedure spaces, ER, ICU, and labs. This full-time role may qualify for a sign-on bonus and requires thorough cleaning, linen distribution, and waste removal responsibilities.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, terminal cleaning of isolation rooms, and ensuring safety and infection control practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and understand the English language.
• Preferred: High School Diploma, GED, or 2 years of full-time work experience in environmental services in lieu of education.
• Minimum: 2 years of cleaning experience in hospitality or healthcare and terminal cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods.
• Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and requests repairs when needed.
• Observes and reports on the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.
• Applies proper infection control practices and isolation techniques.
• Completes assignments independently or as part of a team; follows supervisor instructions.
