The role involves waste disposal, restocking supplies, floor and surface care, and responding quickly to urgent cleaning needs, with evenings shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• One year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas to prevent the spread of infections.
• Properly disposing of medical and hazardous waste according to hospital protocols.
• Restock supplies like gloves, masks, and cleaning materials in various hospital areas.
• Clean and maintain floors, restrooms, and other surfaces using specialized equipment and chemicals and respond to urgent cleaning needs.
