Job summary

Geisinger Environmental Services seeks dedicated staff to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. You will perform patient and non-patient area cleaning, handle waste streams, and follow strict PPE and disinfection procedures.

Position requires flexibility to work days, evenings, or nights, including weekends and holidays. Sign-on bonuses and shift differentials are offered as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow hospital cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
• Capable of following exact cleaning and disposal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient and non-patient areas.
• Handle waste streams including municipal and recyclable waste.
• Wear PPE as required and follow safety policies.
• Maintain signage to indicate cleaning in progress and wet floors.
• Report facility repairs and equipment issues as observed or directed.
