Job summary

Rochelle Community Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Associate (EVS) for full-time 1st shift, weekends, and on-call coverage. You will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting patient areas and common spaces, following safety and quality guidelines to maintain a sanitary environment.

The role requires good communication skills, ability to read and follow procedures, and a willingness to work as part of a collaborative healthcare team at our community hospital in Rochelle,

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must have general knowledge of computer use for e-mail and testing.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all areas of the hospital as assigned.
• Follow Quality Assurance Programs and hospital policies.
• Participate in Performance Improvement projects.
• Comply with Joint Commission, IDPH and OSHA regulations.
• Pass required tests on quality assurance, infection control, confidentiality, competency and safety.
