Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking an EVS Tech II to maintain patient rooms, offices, and common areas in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will follow infection prevention protocols and safety guidelines while delivering excellent service to patients and staff.

The role offers comprehensive benefits and requires flexibility, including evening hours and every other weekend. This position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail to support overall patient

Qualifications

Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff.
Must be able to work independently.
Preferred: 1–3 years of environmental services experience in healthcare or hospitality.

Responsibilities

Cleans and maintains patient rooms, offices, public areas, treatment rooms, and other assigned areas daily.
Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation and contact precautions as necessary.
Stocks paper items and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary.
Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area.
Promotes safety in the workplace and uses PPE appropriately.
